No One Fights Alone NOLA

Understanding the expenses that come with a cancer diagnosis, No One Fights Alone organizes fundraising efforts to support selected individuals and their families so they can focus on the battle against cancer instead of the bills.

No One Fights Alone is a small, non-profit organization formed in January 2015 to provide financial assistance to local families in the greater NOLA area when a cancer diagnosis is delivered. We are a group of people helping people. Being aware of the expenses associated with the treatment of cancer we have come together to support others and show that NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE! All fundraising efforts are to help families fighting cancer focus on the battle and not the bills.

Your group is appropriately named because my sister Leslie, my niece Camryn and Louis did not feel alone. It went far beyond the financial assistance they received to help with the medical bills...they felt the love and support of an entire community who understood where they were at that point in time. It was a very difficult diagnosis, complicated by challenges given from his insurance company...a very isolating, scary time for them. I had the pleasure of attending two of their events so far, and I have to say, it's a well put together organization! Everything is family friendly and the people behind the organization are in attendance and literally everywhere, making sure everything goes on without a hitch! They are so upbeat and positive it even makes the people the benefit is for, forget while they are there and can cut loose and have a little fun for a little while at least.
