The organization promotes public welfare by providing under served audiences within the community with access to arts and cultural education and enrichment that uses digital and interactive media and technology as part of its educational platform.

New Orleans Game Devs works to provide independent, aspiring and advanced game developers with the means to see their visions to completion. Whether this is classes to teach how to program and navigate in certain game engines, donations to provide members of our community with the workstations they need, or game development jams to give a reason to create something in general. We aim to serve programmers, artists, musicians, writers, and anyone else who might want to pick up one of the many crafts that go into making a game.
