New Orleans Rugby Football Club

A nonprofit organization

The New Orleans Rugby Football Club was created in 1973 by a group of college teammates who wanted to pursue their sport at a different level, and hoped to pass on the joy of the game and camaraderie of its culture to their children. Today, our players range in age from college students to seasoned veterans with "Old Boy" status. Our club members coach and mentor the growing network of high school and youth rugby in our region. We also proudly support the professional NOLA Gold.

Our club strives to build ties across these generations to build rugby culture on and off the pitch. The club is based in New Orleans, a world-renowned crossroads and bucket list destination for any traveling side.

NORFC currently fields Teams in the True South Geographic Union (South Pool), USA Rugby South.

Open to players of any size, shape, or experience. Practice is Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Gretna Rugby Pitch and Thursdays at Marconi Pitch (Marconi and Harrison). Contact Club President, Jimmy Rehkopf (jrehko1@gmail.com) for more information.

NORFC is hoping to challenge for regional and national titles in 2024.
