Ke Kula Kaiapuni o Maui is comprised of 3 public schools on Maui. The program is a Hawaiian language immersion program housed at Pā`ia School (Pā`ia), Samuel Kalama Intermediate (Makawao) and King Kekaulike H.S (Pukalani). Ke Kula Kaiapuni o Maui serves children in grades K-12 from all over Maui County.

Being an immersive language education program (rather than a school) within a school, our students and teachers have unique needs that have yet to be properly addressed by the Hawai`i State Department of Education and its governing body, the Hawai`i State Board of Education.

As such, it becomes the kuleana (responsibility) of parents and community alike to support and provide resources to our students.

Nā Leo Kāko`o is driven by a group of parents who fundraise, get the word out and provide advocacy for Ke Kula Kaiapuni o Maui. We are able to provide scholarships, class and teacher support and summer school assistance with the generous donation of time, effort, money and manpower.
