We are dealing with mental illness, whether our own or that of someone we love.
- We strive to educate ourselves and others on how to cope with the various mental illness through the free, Family to Family classes.
- We help each other cope with mental illness through providing peer and family support groups.
- We educate others through our involvement in community activites and information fairs.
- We advocate for better services for those with mental illness by educating city, county and state legislators about the impact of mental illness on our communities.
- We were active in getting Crisis Intervention Training for the law enforcement offices in Eastern Idaho so they could help de-escalate mental illness crises when needed.
- We sponsor an annual picnic for people in the area who have mental illness and for their families.
We are an all-volunteer group and depend on memberships and donations to provide our classes, support groups and other services and activities.
