The Care House ministry has been in existence since the 1960's, when it was a clothing bank; but has more recently turned it's main focus to providing groceries for the hungry. We open our doors 4 days a week to the public, offering food, and friendship, and often times prayer. We serve on average 780 families, (or) 2,500 individuals, which comes to about 7,500 meals per month. Our pantry, different from most, offers our neighbors in need the opportunity to choose what items they want off the shelves. We do this in hopes of restoring some dignity back into people's lives.

We don't "push God" on those that come, rather we have a prayer request box available for anyone to write their prayer requests at any time. We have seen the need for something more to be done to reach out to our neighbors (beyond the food box) due to a large amount of request being entered each week; therefore, the Care House has recently opened a new branch of ministry called "The Living Room". Open every Wednesday night to everyone for some worship music, a message, and conversation.

Each and every day brings a new challenge, many blessings, and friendships that will last a lifetime. Our goal is to feed the hungry, physically and spiritually through the power of God.
