National Alliance for Musical Theatre Inc

For the last 23 years, the National Alliance for Musical Theatre has presented our Festival of New Musicals in New York City every fall.  The Festival present 8 of the best new musicals in the country in 45 minute staged readings for an audience made up of over 600 industry insiders who can help bring the shows and the writers to the next level.  

We pride ourselves at NAMT on paying for the entire experience from rehearsal space to programs to invitations to the tech crew, leaving no burden on the writers.  We want our writers to be able to focus on being writers during our Festival.  But there is one thing we just don't have the money for...their demo CDs.  The demos play a huge part in the Festival as the writers will hand them out to the audience to drum up more interest in their work.  

We would like to take this project off of the writers' plates this year and design and print the CDs for them.  In order to do so, we need to raise $5,000.00 by August 15, 2011.  

If the full amount is not raised, the money will be divided equally amongst the writing teams to help subsidize their own demo duplications they will have to take on themselves.  

This is a great way to support these great writers and our Festival as we continue our long standing tradition of introducing great new musicals to world!
