Why should I consider donating to the Nebraska Association of Resources Districts Foundation?

The foundation inspires our youth from Kindergarden through 12th grade to care about the environment around us and to learn about why our state's natural resources are so important in protecting Nebraskans lives, property and our future.

The NARD Foundation invests in the children who will grow up making sure our state has enough safe drinking water for Nebraska's entire population and enough water to keep the state's number one agriculture industry running strong. We'll rely on our children to learn why conserving our soil, planting trees, creating levees to protect people from flooding and protecting our endangered species is vital to our long-term economic success.

The foundation sponsors many different educational youth programs including:

Raising Nebraska Exhibit at the Nebraska State Fair - The 25,000 sq. ft. exhibit provides hands-on experiences for all ages to learn more about agriculture and natural resources in Nebraska. Twenty-two districts each contributed $1,000 to help fun a $25,000 contribution to the exhibit.
