Assistance League of Rancho San Dieguito

Assistance League Rancho San Dieguito is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children and adults in our community. We are one of 120 chapters of National Assistance League, which was founded in 1935 to promote the growth of effective volunteerism.

Assistance League of Rancho San Dieguito has a history of supporting the vision and talents of volunteers engaged in personal service to our community and embraces the following:  Commitment, Leadership, Ethics, Respect and Accountability.

**Our Operation School Bell program provides new school clothes and shoes at shopping events at a local retail store.  Students shop with their parents to choose what they would like to wear.  We also provide sweatshirts to children of military families at Camp Pendleton every year, working with other Assistance League chapters to provide a back-to-school event.  We have served over 21,000 local students since 1998.

**Our Survivor After Violence (SAV) program works with Palomar Forensic Health Services to provide clothing, toiletries, weighted stuffed animals, and other requested items to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.  We have served over 6700 survivors since 1998.

**Our Scholarship program has provided scholarships to fifty-six high school students to continue their education at colleges and vocational schools since 2019.  Each student has an Assistance League mentor who communicates with them regularly.
