Help us write the next chapter of victims' rights in 2020.

NCVLI is celebrating 20 years of victims' rights enforcement this year.  As we look back on how far victims' rights have come in the past 20 years, we know there is still a long way to go.  Will you help us write the next chapter?

Promoting a balanced and fair justice system for victims.

NCVLI was founded to help restore balance to a criminal justice system that had historically treated victims more like pieces of evidence than human beings.

This is how we're writing the next chapter.

Because of generous people like you, the National Crime Victim Law Institute can continue to respond to victims in need. Your donation means that

  • Families of murder victims are seen and heard and their voices are valued in the court process;
  • The privacy rights of sexual assault victims are recognized and upheld;
  • Advocates and attorneys working with victims have the resources and real-time assistance they need to successfully work with crime victims;
  • And so much more!

You can make a real difference in the life of a crime victim.

Victims' legal rights are not new, but the justice system continues to fail them on many levels; people who are already struggling with surviving can find themselves experiencing new injustices at the hands of the system.  Together with NAVRA (our National Membership Alliance of Victims' Rights Attorneys and Advocates), NCVLI is working to create a world where crime victims are safe and their legal rights are respected in court.  To achieve this, NCVLI

  • Conducts nationwide victims' rights trainings;
  • Provides technical assistance to attorneys in the form of legal research, writing and strategic advice so they may effectively fight for victims' rights;
  • Pairs victims with these trained and supported lawyers; and
  • Works with partners across the nation to make laws stronger for victims.

Join us and make victims' rights a reality.  Make a donation today.
