National Cherry Blossom Festival

The National Cherry Blossom Festival, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the beauty of nature and international friendship through year-round programs, events, and educational initiatives that enhance our environment, showcase arts and culture, and build community spirit. 

In the spring of 2012, the National Cherry Blossom Festival will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the gift of trees from Tokyo to Washington, DC. To honor this momentous occasion, an unprecedented 5-week tribute is planned from March 20 - April 27, 2012.

Activities that inspire and educate, and are predominantly free and open to the public, are hallmarks of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
