If you could help a student reach their educational goals while strengthening your community, impacting economic growth and enhancing countless lives, would you?

Students at NC State College come from diverse backgrounds, cultures, religions, and family situations. They may have different beliefs, appearances, and unique goals for their futures. Yet, despite these differences, they share a common purpose: pursuing an education close to home. In an ever-changing world, each student and their family face unexpected challenges along the way. Many students struggle with the rising costs of housing, groceries, gas, medical necessities, medication, and utilities, as well as increased childcare needs, transportation issues, and the pressure of taking on multiple jobs just to cover basic needs. Balancing these hardships with their coursework makes focusing on education extremely challenging.

 Never has your help been needed more. The Foundation sees firsthand students’ need for support due to these types of concerns continuing to rise. With your assistance our college is not only an essential part of the area community, but also changing the trajectory of our students and their family’s lives.

The NCSC mission is to provide individuals with the knowledge, skills, and inspiration to succeed in their chosen pathways. Part of this mission includes making sure students can rest easy knowing that they have community support to overcome obstacles that threaten their ability to stay focused and complete their educational journey.

 In the past your gifts have made a major difference, answering the call for help and supporting our students and communities. 

The NCSC Foundation is asking you for your support by making a gift during the 2024 Richland Gives. We have established a new Hope4Students Fund. The new fund will assist students address these situations that create barriers to their education attainment. Our goal is set at $15,500.

 Can we count on your help to support those in need, through the new Hope4Students Fund? Or should you prefer, a contribution to any of the Foundation Scholarships helps a student get closer to the finish line!  Please join us in changing lives and supporting student needs.
