Neighborhood STRONG

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of the residents of North Lufkin, Texas. The organization will participate in a coordinated revitalization effort by partnering with local foundations, charities, and corporations as well as city, state and federal agencies to assist homeowners in the target area to enhance and/or renovate their property. As a non-profit, we can leverage these funds to accomplish our goals to improve the lives of our neighbors.

We welcome any assistance from individual donations or volunteering to work on our projects. No amount is ever too small to help improve the lives of our neighbors! Our neighbors need help in building ramps for access to and from their homes, replacing leaky roofs and repairs inside from the damage, new flooring to repair cracks and holes in flooring and many other repairs. All these renovations help to improve the lives of our neighbors. This empowers our neighbors as one of many paths to self-sufficiency. It encourages personal responsibility while assisting our neighbors to improve their well-being in order to flourish. We also hold events such as Litter Abatement Day and Art in the Park Day to give our neighbors an opportunity to volunteer and enjoy our local culture with art and music.
