Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a Ridgefield area food bank that serves several surrounding communities.  We receive our food from the Clark County Food Bank, the local Green Bag program, Rosauers Grocery store, and many other local churches and food producers. We not only provide food boxes on a weekly basis, but now are also able to provide laundry detergent, household soaps, hygiene products for both men and women and diapers and food for infants.  We are staffed by one paid administrator who receives a small monthly stipend, and all others are volunteers, many who have volunteered here for years.  We are open to the public on Tuesday mornings and generally service 50 to 65 families weekly and deliver food boxes to an additional 7 to 10.   We would love to be able to increase our deliveries to additional families and individuals who are unable to come to the food bank.  The donations we receive enable us to continue our operations and expand our products to enable our clients to not only have food available for themselves and their families, but also to live healthier lives by having the products needed to maintain a clean and healthier lifestyle.
