Your donation will help NESEA offer 10 scholarships to emerging professionals in the sustainable building & renewable energy industries this year. Scholarships are awarded in the form of online courses, passes to conferences and other educational events, NESEA membership, and educational travel opportunities.

In 2014, the NESEA Community learned that we had lost Kate Goldstein, a rising star of sustainable building and renewable energy and an advocate for young professionals. Kate passed away while working to install solar panels in the remote village of Phey, India with the Students’ Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL). As a PhD student at the MIT Building Technology department, NESEA board member, and NESEA lifetime member, Kate was an inspiring presence to all those she worked with and a vital part of NESEA's community.
