Please help us GIVE MORE

  • MORE rehabilitation VISITS
  • MORE TIME per visit
  • MORE INTENSIVE THERAPY
  • MORE SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT
  • MORE EXPERTISE

As a direct result of GIVING MORE, Neuroworx is well-positioned as the premier comprehensive community-based outpatient physical therapy facility of its type in the entire Intermountain region.

As such, the demand for our services continues to increase and we find that we have simply outgrown our present physical facility. A problem that we are excited to have and ecstatic to remedy.

Your donation today will help us pay for our NEW FACILITY and stand on our own.

THANK YOU for helping us PUSH FOR MORE!

NEUROWORX HISTORY:

Dr. Dale Hull and Ms. Jan Black co-founded Neuroworx in 2004 to meet the need in our community to provide focused, expert, outpatient rehabilitation care to individuals experiencing paralysis resulting from spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and stroke.

Neuroworx was conceived and operates on the principle that more progress is possible if individuals with these conditions are given access to specialized expertise and equipment and, most importantly, additional time. The results of research and observed clinical outcomes demonstrate that consistent and persistent, aggressive therapy has the potential to produce substantial improvements after hospitalization.

This progress is measured as greater neurological recovery and an increase in functional ability. This translates into greater personal independence, better health, and an enhanced quality of life.

However, this requires additional time per session and many more sessions if optimal outcomes are to be reached.   The unfortunate reality is that even those with insurance are usually underfunded. Additionally, many lose their employment, and subsequently their insurance, due to the injury or condition. The most difficult circumstances are those with no resources.

The Neuroworx goal is to provide care to as many as possible.  Therefore, Neuroworx must pursue supplemental funds to carry out its mission. This would not be possible without the generosity of organizations and individuals

Currently Neuroworx is the only community-based, outpatient facility in the Intermountain West, and one of a few in the country, specializing in spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Because of its focus, it has become more than just a physical therapy clinic; it is a community asset--a place of hope, with a plan for progress and an opportunity for healing.
