Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention

The Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention is a hardworking group of volunteers across Nevada who work tirelessly to educate the public about suicide awareness and prevention. This is done through projects like the Annual Walk in Memory, Walk for Hope, low-cost training like safeTALK and ASIST*; educating gunowners about safe storage of firearms; and community events like health fairs. 

One important goal we have is to make suicide prevention education more accessible to Spanish-speaking Nevadans, and so we need to have at least 1-2 Spanish-speaking members become trainers.

You donation will help us to continue making these programs available and low-cost so everyone is able to learn about suicide prevention.

$495 = Signs of Suicide kit for 1 school

$580 = Host a SafeTALK training for 40 people

$1,000 = Send an NCSP representative to a National Suicide Prevention Conference

$2,100 = Host an ASIST training for 30 people

$3,000 = Send an NCSP representative to an International Suicide Prevention Conference
