The Nevada Senior Games (NSG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to motivating seniors to lead an active, healthy lifestyle through education, sports and fitness. The NSG is asking for support for our annual Senior Olympic Games.
Health, fitness, and personal recognition are key components for maintaining independent lifestyles. The Nevada Senior Games are Olympic style events that demonstrate the positive aspects of aging and provide motivation and inspiration for our community’s seniors. For 37 years the Games have provided an
opportunity for people in the second half of their lives to be competitive athletes and enhance their health and fitness.
Senior athletes come from all over the state to participate in this multi-sport competition aimed specifically for adults age 50 years of age and over. The Games take place in September and October featuring three weeks of competition in various activities, such as bowling, tennis, golf, pickleball, swimming, table tennis, cycling, track and field, and more.
The Nevada Senior Games are held annually. Participation in even-numbered years is the ONLY opportunity for our Nevada athletes to qualify for the National Senior Games held in odd-numbered years.
How funds are used:
Your donations help cover event costs such as facility rentals, permit fees, insurance, event officials, and timing equipment.
The Nevada Senior Games depends on sponsors, donations and participant registration fees in order to present and expand these programs. Donations and sponsorships allow us to keep registration fees low and affordable for all seniors.
