Nevada Senior Services

Nevada Senior Services currently operates the Adult Day Care Centers of Las Vegas and Henderson. Our Centers are the leading edge of adult day care services, focusing on adults with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, Parkinsonism, brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions and the medically frail. The Adult Day Care Centers of Las Vegas and Henderson represent the only  2 non-profit adult day programs in all of Southern Nevada.

No family in need is turned away because of an inability to pay. The Centers offer professional nursing care, assistance with activities of daily living, nutritional programming with 2 meals daily, social work services and recreation designed to promote mental stimulation, exercise and fun. Activities include creative dance, tai chi, art, poetry, drumming, laughing yoga, and daily bingo. A few times a week, professional musicians, provide lively entertainment at both Centers. Many of these performers graced the stages of the most famous Las Vegas venues.

Connections is a  programs developed by Nevada Senior Services for people with early memory loss and moderate memory loss and their loved ones. This program offer a structured program to allow participants to access cognitive pathways and meet new friends. Staff support is available to caregivers in this program as well as through bimonthly, caregiver support groups that are free and open to the public.

Community programming includes Nevada’s first comprehensive Geriatric Assessment Program, Chronic Disease Self-Management Program and the RESPITE Care Program.
