New Beginnings of Southwest Florida

The plight of the single mother is a growing concern in society today.  Often overlooked or even looked down upon because of her circumstances these women are in a near impossible situation.  As they try to overcome the obstacles in their life they are presented with no-win scenarios over and over.  Hopeless and destitute, their struggle is truly one of survival.

The New Beginnings mission is to reach out and offer these women an opportunity to stand on their own and take control of their future.  We are unique in our approach as we offer them free housing while they are in our program.  This aleviates much of the financial burden they face and allows them to pursue a college education which allows them to pursue a career.  While they are with us the women are surrounded with Godly people who help guide and direct them in everything from parenting to budgeting and most importantly tell them the good news of Jesus Christ.
