New Beginnings Outreach Center

New Beginnings Outreach Center is dedicated to supporting unsheltered individuals within the community. Our mission is to provide supportive services to this most vulnerable population.  All guests are welcomed into a non-judgmental accepting environment that promotes healthy supportive relationships and healing. We strive to meet each person at their own level and needs. 

We are an Interim Supportive Services agency that is committed to providing the unhoused with access to a variety of services, including immediate access to central entry intake and assessment for housing assistance programs though the regions Continuum of Care. Our program also offers access to basic needs including food, water, personal hygiene, harm reduction and overdose kits, a mail room, clothing, emergency and first aid supplies, laundry pods, and secured storage lockers are available for medications and vital documents. For those individuals that qualify we also offer local case management to keep connections while those in the community, and support them until they are assigned a housing provider or case manager. Services are available through our Day Center that is open 6 days a week or through our Rapid Response Line that is staffed 24/7 365 days of the year. We offer meals at the Day Center for our guests as well as shelf stable ready to eat items that can be given out in go-bags at any time. These items are easily packed, “pop-top” food that require no cooking or refrigeration and ready for immediate consumption. The foods are high in calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat to help sustain those individuals. 

Individuals we serve often need assistance with gathering medical records, social security cards, photo identification, laundry cards, cell phones, and many other things that require funding. All assistance provided to these individuals are paid through by donations to our organization or more frequently through staff and volunteers personal funds. 

At New Beginnings, we serve any adult individual experiencing homelessness. They may utilize any and all services and programs without restrictions or barriers. This includes individuals in active addiction or serious mental health issues that currently refuse treatment or intervention, and regardless of criminal history or legal status.

While our Day Center and main operations are located in Culpeper County, New Beginnings Outreach Center does provide services to the entire region including the counties of Fauquier, Orange, Madison and Rappahannock.
