New Braunfels Science Education Foundation

Science can be fun and interactive.  Thus, the NBSEF created the New Braunfels Science Fest. The New Braunfels Science Fest is a hands on festival for students of all ages which showcases the many branches of science through dynamic and interactive activities. From large scale, high energy scientific experiments on the main stage, to music with the Otter Space Band, the  NB Science Fest allows the direct participation of students with professional scientists. Surrounding the main stage, our festival features 50 booths where students can try hands on science experiments with local scientists from the public, private, and educational sectors. The festival is free to all participants. The inaugural NB Science Fest in Oct 2017 drew over 2500 participants and big plans are in the works to make next years Fest even more spectacular.
