New Century Theatre Inc

Since 1991, New Century Theatre has produced new and contemporary productions for New England audiences - shows that entertain, educate, and inspire. 

Recognized time and again as one of the best places to see live theatre in the Pioneer Valley, NCT shows are often regional premieres of new work - a diverse collection of shows that feature, comedy, drama, intrigue, and mystery. Their summer seasons have become a fixture for Valley residents and summer visitors.

NCT's reputation attracts acting talent from New York and Boston.  The company also takes great pride in providing  creative opportunities for area professional actors, designers and technicians. NCT has served as a valuable training ground for area high school and college students along with emerging professionals who collaborate on our annual productions.

In  2016, the company lost the use of their longtime venue on the campus of Smith College. They presented a 2017 season that used new local area venues. They have been on hiatus during 2018 as fundraising continues and will present a two-show season in the summer of 2019 with  productions at Gateway City Arts in Holyoke and Eastworks in Easthampton.
