New Hampshire Dance Institute

The mission of New Hampshire Dance Institute (NHDI) is to enrich the educational, intellectual, physical, and social well-being of school children -- inclusive of all abilities and backgrounds -- by instilling confidence and discipline through the joy of dance and music.

For over 30 years, NHDI has brought an exuberant performing arts experience to children during their school days throughout the Monadnock Region, touching the lives of over 4,000 students annually.  We accomplish this through our Year-Long, Residency and Summer Programs.  We believe that the arts have a unique power to engage all children -- regardless of background, ability, or socio-economic status -- and motivate them toward excellence.

Who We Are

NHDI is a non-profit organization that introduces children in kindergarten through eighth grade to the joy of choreographed dance. NHDI accomplishes this through its Year-Long, Special Teams, Residency and Summer Intensive Programs. Through NHDI, children learn that discipline, hard work, commitment and concentration can lead to success. NHDI is an associate of the National Dance Institute (NDI) in New York, founded by renowned New York City Ballet principal dancer, Jacques d'Amboise.
