Every year in New Jersey, thousands of victims of violent crime face overwhelming physical, emotional, and legal challenges — often at the most vulnerable moments of their lives. The New Jersey Crime Victims’ Law Center (NJCVLC) exists to ensure that survivors are not alone in the justice system. Since 1992, NJCVLC has provided pro bono, holistic legal advocacy and civil rights enforcement for victims of homicide, sexual assault, child and elder abuse, domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, and more — all at no cost to the survivor. 

At NJCVLC, we believe that every victim deserves fairness, compassion, dignity, and justice. Our team of dedicated legal advocates works tirelessly across all 21 counties in New Jersey to enforce victims’ state and federal rights. Whether representing survivors in court, providing legal education and resources, or advocating at the highest levels of the justice system, NJCVLC ensures that no victim is left without a voice or legal support.
