New Leaders Council

A nonprofit organization

New Leaders Council (NLC) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that trains and connects Millennial leaders across the country. Anchored by our six-month training program, provided at no cost to our nearly 1,000 Fellows each year, NLC equips our leaders with the skills, network, and mentorship to run for office, create start-ups, and manage non-profit organizations. NLC leaders take their activism back into their communities and workplaces to impact positive change.

With 50 chapters, nearly 9,000 fellows and alumni, and a growing footprint of elected officials, NLC is building a bench of leaders to shape all sectors of our country. There are nearly 200 leaders in the NLC Elected Officials Network, serving in School Boards, on City Councils, in Statehouses, and even in Congress across the country. NLC is a true reflection of the Millennial generation, with over 60 percent of our community self-identifying as people of color and 60 percent women.

The Atlanta Chapter of New Leaders Council is locally accomplished and nationally recognized. They need your help to invest in progressive infrastructure in Atlanta and beyond.
