NPTC Takes JIHAD the play to Bogota!

NPTC has been invited to Revive our OOBR-award-winning production of JIHAD by Ann Chamberlin, directed by Melody Brooks, at the Women Onstage for Peace Festival in Bogotá, Colombia, on August 20th.

You can participate in this international festival when you donate to the Travel fund for JIHAD!

JIHAD was one of the first plays developed and produced by NPTC’s Women’s Work Project (WWP) in 1996. It won an OOBR Award that year, and was revived to acclaim in 2000.

Depicting a fictitious meeting outside Jerusalem between Richard the Lionheart and the Muslim leader Saladin, fabled opponents during the Third Crusade (1189-1192), JIHAD is almost more relevant today than it was in 1996 or 2000.
