New Settlement Apartments

New Settlement Apartments has a 29-year demonstrated commitment to positive social change by way of increased preparedness and access to high-quality public and post-secondary education, expanding opportunities for healthy and active living, fair and sustainable employment, and safe and affordable housing.  New Settlement is a multi-service organization built out of burned-out apartment buildings in the Mount Eden neighborhood of the southwest Bronx.  New Settlement is home to more than 1,000 families.  With the philosophy that housing is not just bricks and mortar, New Settlement works with community residents with a collaborative aim to support and improve the social capital of the community.
