At New Tampa Players, it is our mission to create quality theatre by and for people of all abilities and backgrounds through Character, Connection, and Compassion.  Founded in 2002, New Tampa Players is growing to be the leading example of excellence, diversity, and inclusion in the Tampa Bay area. 

In 2020, New Tampa Players is opening our new rehearsal and small performance space Uptown Stage. It is located at the University Mall in the heart of Uptown. Even though COVID complicated opening the space, we are looking forward to presenting our first season at Uptown Stage as soon as it is safe.

More!  Uptown Stage will allow us to do more of what you have come to love from us! More quality performances. More plays. More musicals. More original work. 

How can you help?

As New Tampa Players recovers from COVID, support from our members, volunteers, and community will be more important than ever. We are expecting due to social distancing to have smaller audiences.  Ticket Sales make up 60-70 percent of our income in any given year.  Personal donations will be the key to our financial success over the next 5 years.  Please financially support NTP as we recover from COVID and go into 2021 stronger than ever.
