The Newtown Nation is a diverse group of concerned citizens dedicated to creating solutions for a healthier, happier, and safer community. 

Dedicated to the education, advancement, and progressive involvement it takes to help the community of Newtown advance with job training and educational programs that inform and provide our community with the proper tools they need to be successful and thrive in these trying times. 

Newtown Nation puts forth every available resource to create a better platform for people to receive an honest and sincere helping hand. We reach out to those forgotten by our political leaders and placed in a position of despair due to their economic, financial, and cultural hindrances. 

Newtown is one of Sarasota's oldest African American neighborhoods. Yet, according to the 2020 Census data, the population of North Sarasota, including Newtown, is 32 percent below the poverty level. By supporting Newtown Nation, you help empower the community, preserve its history, and improve Newtown residents' quality of life.
