Newtown Parent Connection, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving Newtown, CT and surrounding areas since 1993.

The mission of the Newtown Parent Connection is to educate and empower the community in the prevention of substance abuse and to embrace families in crisis.  NPC recognizes now, more than ever, the need to embrace all families, especially those impacted by the traumatic events of December 14, 2012.  

SOCCER - BRINGING FAMILIES TOGETHER!

Our talented soccer team, Newtown Pride, has committed to playing a series of fund-raising exhibition games against professional teams to support the ongoing efforts of the Newtown Parent Connection.  Events featuring notable teams are being scheduled in Newtown & across the country. The primary goal of Newtown Pride is to wrap its own community in support. These exciting soccer events are sure to have a positive, far-reaching effect.

Newtown Pride plans to pack seats and open hearts.  We are the underdogs, kicking off against seasoned professionals.  But win or lose, people everywhere will be rooting for this extraordinary group of men --  and Newtown -- to succeed.  Newtown Pride is on a mission to help its shattered community recover, and transform – making Newtown feel like home again, safe and well.  Forever.

What We Plan To Do With Your Support:

Implement a strategic plan that will endure 5 years, 10 years, and 20 years from now. Our goal:

• Expand NPC’s educational programming with an emphasis on substance abuse and mental health issues.
• Offer current, comprehensive resources for the community to promote mental health and well-being.
• Continue to develop parent-to-parent and peer-to-peer support for individuals in crisis.
• Provide an accessible location to accommodate our current and growing services.
