At Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission we envision a thriving region where all members are self-reliant, capable of helping themselves and offering support to their neighbors with any life challenges they may face.

We Connect Northern Kentucky:  Urban to Rural, Young to Old, Education to Electricity.  

We have empowered Northern Kentucky families to thrive for over 50 years by providing immediate temporary relief while working with families on long term solutions.  

We accomplish this work through many programs and services designed to provide solutions to the root of poverty issues.  We help families to obtain the education and job skills they need to secure employment that pays a liveable wage.  We provide early childhood education to those children most at risk of not being kindergarten ready to ensure they start their educational careers with the same advantages as other children.  We provide financial counseling to teach families how to set a budget, stay on course with that budget, to begin saving, and to eventually be able to purchase their own home.
