HOPES is critical to our LGBTQ+ friends here in northern Nevada and the Sierra. Many people are feeling stressed like never before and are seeking safe and supportive spaces. HOPES is that place. Thanks to generous supporters like you, we continue to provide help when our LGBTQ+ neighbors need it.

We began 28 years ago as a HIV clinic, quietly caring for individuals who didn't want their HIV status to be outed. We never shouted our work from the rooftops; instead, we quietly did the work, created community, and consistently advocated for our patients and their care, even when no one knew or saw. We remained committed to serving whoever walked through our doors, with dignity, compassion, and best-in-class services.

Today, we operate three sites, serve 17,500 patients, and we are back to our roots, quietly crusading for our patients while continuing to care for them and advocate for their needs. Our work may not be loud, but it is powerful and unwavering. We are committed to ensuring all people who come to HOPES drive their care, partner with us to achieve their health goals and live fulfilling lives, free from judgment.

This year, our goal is to raise $50,000 to continue serving our LGBTQ+ community. 

The way we serve the community includes primary care, sexual health care, walk-in STI testing, HIV prevention services, behavioral health counseling, substance use counseling, and support groups. This is a reality because of YOU!
