No Longer Empty inspires joy and wonder through community-based exhibitions, educational and cultural programming co-created with local partners. We believe that communities are more enriched and vital when people of all ages unite to be heard and dream together.  

Join us as we stand with artists and fellow New Yorkers to unlock new ways of thinking and seeing the world and re-imagining our future through art in unexpected places.

No Longer Empty connects artists to each other and to wider audiences. Through our community advisory council process, new relationships are generated between local cultural and community based organizations as well as small businesses, to strengthen a sense of place.  Our integrated exhibition and education programs bring together students across the city, supporting teens to imagine their own exhibitions and become arts leaders in our communities. This nomadic approach to working throughout the five boroughs creates cross borough exchanges and discussions of crucial issues that know no borders.
