No Time to Spare Animal Rescue and Sanctuary

NTTSARS generally rescue dogs on their last day of life or dogs needing significant medical attention. The animals we rescue receive the necessary veterinary care and are placed for adoption in their forever homes. We also promote the importance of spaying and neutering. In addition to rescue and sanctuary, we strive to keep companion animals with their families during financially difficult times by providing temporary pet food assistance and offer other resources. They have named it "Morgan's Legacy Pet Resources". This was named after a 20 year old girl who lost her life and who loved animals.

NTTSARS is 100% funded by donations and every dollar earned or received goes to the care and treatment of the animals in our rescue or to further our community assistance mission.

The owner, Carol Risley has worked in the animal welfare industry for 30 years. She established this shelter on her property because there are no other shelters in the County. She believes that having a safe place for people to bring unwanted animals promotes the health, safety, morals, comfort and general welfare of the community.

Since 2013 they have successfully rescued and adopted over 2000 dogs, reunited hundreds of lost pets with their owners. They have provided hundreds of families with pet food and supplies, spay or neuter, vaccines, microchips, emergency veterinary care, education on proper pet care and training of their pets to help them stay with their families and in their homes. We have been called by Warren County Sheriff's Dept and local Police Departments many times to assist/rescue horses, potbellied pigs and dogs. These animals may be running at large, neglected, hit by a car, or involved in a traffic accident where EMTs didn't have anywhere to take the dog. Further, sometimes when a suspect is arrested, a dog will be in the vehicle with the individual. In those situations we have been contacted by law enforcement to hold the animal until it can be retrieved. We answer these calls at all hours of the day and night because there is nowhere else for law enforcement to turn.

We do our best to provide as many services as possible to the county and citizens even though we receive no government funding of any sort.
