The Noble Heroes Foundation

As Officer Jason Muenzer worked the streets of Atlanta while on duty with the Atlanta Police Department, he was confronted with the continual occurrence of injuries to his fellow officers.  Officer Muenzer often thought that there had to be a way the help the officers and their families. 

After talking to his fellow first responders, he learned that most severely injured and disabled responders had difficulty not just in the days, weeks, and months immediately following the incident but in the years following as they dealt with the loss of income, high debt due to medical bills and inability to connect with those they had worked and lived with.

He joined with Lawanda Hodges who at the time was the Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, and together they formed the NobleHeroes Foundation.

Throughout the years, the Foundation has provided support for numerous police officers, fire fighters, 911 operators, EMTs, and their families using funds generously donated by individuals, corporations, and other charitable institutions.  Additionally, the Foundation hosts events throughout the year raising funds and support for the cause.
