Who are we?

North Tahoe Arts' mission is to provide diverse, immersive art experiences for all. In studies, both viewing and creating art has been proven to jumpstart mental well-being, increase civic and community engagement and even improve youth test scores.

We are a network of caring community members, art advocates, local artists, and volunteers who think it's immensely important to provide these kinds of experiences to our community.

Your generous support makes it possible for us to provide a venue for local artists to succeed, for our community to gather, and for our youth to become immersed in their own creative experiences.

Our story in a nutshell:

NTA began 30 years ago as the Sierra Artists’ Network, a group of local artists who wanted to share their passion for arts. Today we have grown into two art galleries, in Tahoe City and in Kings Beach, called the North Tahoe Art Center.

What do we do?

In Tahoe City, we are the home of over 20 local artists, and our gallery is a free outlet for the community to see locally made fine art. In Kings Beach, we operate a gallery with over 13 artists, a special exhibit space, and full service art programs including kids art camp, adult workshops, free community events, and more.
