Pico de Gato end of treatmentPico de  Gato 1st day of treatment  At NTCR, we dedicate ourselves year-round to rescuing cats like Pico de Gato from high-kill shelters and the streets, providing them with the love and care they truly deserve. Unfortunately, this year has presented significant challenges, with many cats ending up in overcrowded shelters or being abandoned by owners who can no longer care for them due to various life changes. We've seen a rise in surrendered cats to our rescue for reasons ranging from relocation to new family dynamics. 

Our commitment to these furry friends remains steadfast, but as veterinary care costs continue to climb, we find ourselves increasingly dependent on the kindness and generosity of our community. Your support is vital in helping us provide necessary medical care, especially for our hospice cats who require ongoing treatment, such as insulin or thyroid medication. 

Additionally, we are, when possible, involved in TNR trap-neuter-return initiatives to help control the population of neighborhood cats, ensuring they receive the care they need. Together, with your help, we can continue to make a pawsitive impact in the lives of these cats. We appreciate every donation, share, and word of encouragement, as they all contribute to creating a brighter future for our feline friends.
