NorthShore Robotics

The mission of Northshore Robotics is to encourage and foster a passion for STEAM education in our students and community. We enable our students through exploration of STEAM subjects in the world around us and through lessons in programming, designing, building and application of the engineering process. Our students also showcase skills at competitive robotics events. We encourage a culture of camaraderie, determination, positivity, respect, and the pursuit of personal and team excellence.

NorthShore Robotics (NSR) is an independent, non-school affiliated STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art & Mathematics) education organization serving St Tammany Parish, the Florida Parishes and surrounding areas. Informally beginning in 2018, founded by parents seeking a higher level STEM education not provided in their children's schools, we received our 501(c)(3) non-profit status from the IRS in 2020. NSR has award winning competitive robotics teams participating in VEXIQ tournaments, offers after school classes, summer camps, and community events. Our organization is dedicated to Gearing Kids Up for Success by helping students explore STEAM education through lessons in programming, mechanical engineering, and design. Hands on learning and competition help our students build skills such as problem solving, teamwork, communication, patience and perseverance. Our students have ranged from 1st-8th grade. Our educational topics have included coding, 3D printing, Computer Aided Design, basic engineering principles, and robotics.
