NEF is honored to be celebrating it's 25th year of supporting public education in Northampton!  Now, more than ever:

We believe in the importance of public education.

We believe that ALL students can succeed.

We are committed to supporting teachers, staff and students as they work to expand educational opportunities, foster creativity and enhance academic experiences throughout the Northampton Public Schools.

Your donation on Valley Gives Day will help us continue to make creative, exciting, enriching projects possible in our schools.  Your generosity has supported hundreds of grants, including most recently:

* support for community engagement program bringing together R.K. Finn Ryan Road Elementary School teachers and staff with children living at Florence Heights for extra-curricular activities.

* a collaboration with Grow Food Northampton, to bring NPS elementary and middle school students to Grow Food Northampton's community farms to meet with farmers and engage in hands-on learning, planting, tending, harvesting and sampling the farm's products.

* support to expand the use of computers for JFK's Special Needs students.
