We believe that, "Every Child Deserves a Chance"

NCYF serves over 600 children and families each year. Our continuum of care includes educational (K-12 Tri-County Schools, After-School Programs), clinical (Family Support and In-Home Therapy), and residential treatment programs (Group Homes and Foster Care).

Many of those we serve come to us with histories of emotional and psychiatric needs as well as destructive behaviors that interfere with day-to-day functioning. The families and caretakers of these youth are under tremendous stress, frequently both emotional and financial, and in general, are exhausted from the struggle of providing care.

Do we help children to thrive and succeed? Yes we do!

• In 2012, Tri-County Schools saw 8 of its 10 graduating seniors accepted to college, some with part-time jobs. 2013 saw similar results. All these students passed MCAS. These students were at risk of being expelled or dropping out of their school program and most never expected to graduate.

 

• In September 2013, we opened the Automotive Program, geared to prepare students on the Autism Spectrum for work and post-secondary education in the automotive field. Students are engaged, practicing what they learned, doing real work on auto's in a state of the art garage.
