This beautiful dogs is going to be killed

This dog will be killed without your help.   She’s spent her whole life being abused at a Missouri puppy mill, living in a wire cage and being bred ceaselessly  until at 6 they are through with her, and she’s scheduled to be disposed of, like some useless piece of machinery.

That where we step in and save these sweet little guys from the horrors of their constant abuse.   We’re Northern New England Westie Rescue, a 501c3 charity which saves Westies, Cairns, Scotties and other small terriers from their life of pain and abuse. 

In the past 14 years, we’ve rescued over 1500 of these wonderful dogs, and placed them in loving homes where they will spend the rest of their lives loved and cared for.   

But it’s expensive, many of these dogs need extensive medical care because they’ve never received any before.  Dental care,  spay or neuter,  worming, and other regular care was not part of their existence, and we need to make up for it.   Without your help it won’t be possible,  we just can’t do it without you

A contribution of $500 will insure that she gets spayed, $250 will insure she has a full dental treatment and  those teeth which are causing pain will be removed.  A $25 donation will pay for her microchip so that if she ever runs from fear and is lost, she can be recovered.   These dogs suffer from Post Traumatic Stress syndrome  (PDST) from a horrific life spend in cages stacked one on top of the other with urine and feces raining down on them.  They occasionally will be hosed down in the cage and will be bred as soon as possible and every opportunity thereafter.  It is no life for such a wonderful creature.  

Northern New England Westie Rescue saves Scottish breed dogs including West Highland White Terriers, Scottish Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Norwich Terriers, etc. from the horrors of puppy mills.  These breeding pairs were often killed in a most brutal way prior to our making our network of adopters available.  We rehabilitate, provide vet care, and socialize them prior to finding them loving homes in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.   More than 1800 dogs have been saved over the past 15 years and are enjoying loving homes, provided with vet care and giving joy to all ages of adopters.
