Kauai North Shore Lions Foundation

For almost 20 years, the Lions Club has been giving the gift of education to North Shore students.

This year, the Lions Club Scholarship Program granted $54,000 to help 29 students with their education expenses. In the past 5 years, about $250,000 has been granted to North Shore students, and they can apply for the scholarship every year they're in school.

Scholarship recipient Kailea Danielson is majoring in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Watch her story:
