As the designated Community Action Agency for Jasper, Lake, Newton & Porter, IN Counties, we have advanced regional knowledge and a vested interest in helping remove barriers to independence in NWI. As the Area Agency on Aging, endorsed 2-1-1 and Aging and Disability Resource Center for Jasper, Lake, Newton, Porter, Pulaski & Starke Counties, we work to build strong communities where older individuals can age in place.

When we help to eliminate the barriers to independence, provide access to available resources, educate and advocate for those who can't; we empower individuals to make sustaining, lifelong, healthy choices. Through services ranging from Housing Choice Voucher Programs (Section 8) and Long Term Care Options Counseling to the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, our participants begin to enjoy the freedom to live as independently as they wish and are able.
