Northwest Education Foundation

The mission of the Northwest Education Foundation is to develop, maintain, and promote programs, scholarships, and projects that enrich the educational opportunities for students of the Northwest Public Schools.

The Northwest Education Foundation was established in 1993. The Foundation's primary aim is to support Northwest Public Schools' students and teachers through scholarships and grants that provide extraordinary learning opportunities for the students in Northwest Public Schools. NEF also supports District improvement projects to assist in making the District's facilities some of the best in the State. The foundation recognizes the accomplishments of the Northwest students, staff, and alumni, and ways to better connect the Northwest District to the Community of Grand Island. A donation or gift through the Northwest Education Foundation is tax-deductible and makes a difference toward continued educational success by helping students reach their fullest potential in Northwest Public Schools and beyond.
