Nourish International invites college students around the country to be a part of the solution to global poverty, providing them with the training, support and creative space they need to make a difference.

Through Nourish, college students around the country operate social businesses on their campuses. Students invest the profits that they earn in poverty reduction projects in the developing world, which they travel abroad to implement alongside community organizations. Learn more about Our Model.

Our approach is unique in that it addresses the massive needs of communities with sustainable, scalable solutions, while catalyzing tomorrow’s leaders to take action now. Nourish students partner with communities who lack the necessary funds and resources for development projects, but who have the entrepreneurial vision to eradicate poverty.

Nourish makes an impact in two ways:

First, through our Projects, where we invest in long-term, community-based solutions to poverty. Second, through our students. Whom we equip with the entrepreneurship, leadership, and cross-cultural skills they need to become lifelong agents of social change. 

Since incorporating as a 501(c)3 non-profit in 2006, Nourish has grown into a national movement with 45 chapters on US college campuses and a National Office in Chapel Hill, NC. Since 2003, we’ve invested $353,000 and 476 project interns in 85 projects all over the world.
