Tech Impact

On March 23rd Tech Impact is participating in the Nevada’s Big Give event, a 24-hour giving day, in support of our CXWorks and ITWorks training programs for young adults. Your support in the form of a donation to these programs will help to provide all CXWorks and ITWorks with the foundation for a business professional wardrobe. Having the clothing essentials provides the confidence our students need to succeed during the program, while they complete job interviews, and ultimately to thrive in a corporate environment. Since the majority of our students are without the financial means to purchase professional clothing, it is our goal that every student graduates from the ITWorks and CXWorks program with the foundation of a professional wardrobe.

Approximately 75% of our students require resources to secure professional clothing as part of the Las Vegas programs. Funding for clothing is not included, but we connect students with resources when possible. Tech Impact’s goal is to assist students in purchasing their first suit! Your contribution on March 23rd will allow us to ensure that all of our students can be paid for their hard work during their internships.

In just 16 weeks, ITWorks provides its students with a highly marketable IT skill-set, industry-recognized credentials, IT work experience, and connects them with professional corporations, nonprofits, and IT mentors. Furthermore, our program offers job search assistance, and leaves our students with improved self-confidence and soft skills they need to secure a successful career in the technology field. ITWorks is free of charge to its students, leaving them debt free and on the best path to a success.

In similar fashion, CXWorks is an 8-week training program that primes students for entry-level customer-focused careers in the call center industry. Students receive professional development and soft skills training, as well as experience a nesting opportunity with a local call center hub. Individual in CXWorks have the opportunity to meet dozens of professionals in the field, and are provided with job search assistance after graduation. It is also free of charge.
