NRV Academy of Dance

About Us

NRV Academy of Dance is proud to serve as the New River Valley’s first non-profit dance center. Since opening in the summer of 2017, the studio has established a comprehensive collection of classes in order to offer a complete dance education. Our mission is to provide this education while fostering a strong dance skill-set and athletic ability, growing leadership traits and creativity, and building up our students’ personal confidence.

From traditional ballet, to acrobatic movement and even musical theater, we are proud to offer a community dance studio that provides instruction for those of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities!

Fundraising
We are raising funds through this GiveLocalNRV campaign to offer financial assistance to those in our community who want to experience dance but might not be able to afford it. This year we are providing about $5,000 in aid to 11 dancers, and we’d like to be able to increase that next year! Please consider making a contribution so we can continue offering excellent, affordable dance education to the New River Valley. 

Dance With Us
Another way to support us is to dance with us! If you're interested, we have summer offerings for all ages beginning June 18th! Our regular season classes run from September to May.
