Thank you for placing your trust in us.

This year, an international pandemic and unprecedented wildfires is making our jobs even tougher. Luckily, the very same resilience and leadership skills we strive to develop in youth allowed our team to offer successful and safe field experiences to hundreds of youth and young adults.

As our region faces continuing challenges in society and the environment, we need your help to educate and engage a new generation of young people.

  • Help ICC Build a New Home! Six years ago, ICC moved into donated office space in Boise, with Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. ICC has now grown enough to need its own office in Boise.  Your gift allows us to outfit this new office and warehouse space, to allow us to serve more youth, save money, and increase efficiency. Please write ICC as a note on your on-line donation.

  • Help Invest in Team Tacoma!  NYC is currently working to create a permanent office in Tacoma, to further invest in the South Sound area; expand Sound to Summit; and create deeper partnerships with Tacoma Public Schools. Please write Washington as a note on your check or on-line donation.

  • Help Oregon Reduce Wildfire Risk! Through the recently passed Senate Bill 762, Northwest Youth Corps is going to help lead a large-scale state-wide wildfire restoration initiative in Oregon. Please write Wildfire as a note on your on-line donation. All undesignated gifts will also be dedicated to this project.

  • Tuition Assistance Endowment. Through a gift to our scholarship program, you can create very tangible opportunities for young people. NYC’s Tuition Assistance Endowment was established in 2000, by Steve Stewart, in memory of his mother, Dorothy Elizabeth Stewart. Thanks to ongoing gifts made to the general Endowment fund and our Straub Family Fund, Krist Anderson Fund, Scott Foremny Fund, Campbell Group Fund, and Wyss Foundation Fund, we’ve been able to award thousands of scholarships to youth. Please write Endowment as a note on your on-line donation.

"NYC gave me the opportunity to make friends with an amazing group of kids from all over the country…it was greatly inspiring to watch my crewmates grow over the course of the session, and I am confident we are all better off having gained valuable takeaways from the experience.” - 2021 Participant

Please join me in making the most generous gift you can make at this time, to help the next generation develop valuable life and work skills while improving our public lands. Donate by using the donate button on the top of this page.

All donors will receive a receipt for their gift from NYC. If you don’t want to use the secure Mighty Cause site, you can always mail a check to NYC/ICC, Attn: Finance, 2621 Augusta Street, Eugene, Oregon, 97403. Thank you for your support!
