Oak Grove Center for Education, Treatment & the Arts

Oak Grove Center offers academic instruction and 24-hour care for 76 at-risk and special needs students in addition to 100 day students at the Murrieta campus as well as our location in Perris, Oak Grove at the Ranch. Children are admitted to our program with a variety of psychological, social, emotional, behavioral, medical and neurological problems along with concurrent behavioral difficulties, school problems, family dysfunction and alcohol or substance abuse. Many of the children have suffered physical and/or sexual abuse or other traumas, or have experienced many other severe social, emotional or behavioral challenges.  

APPLES ART MUSIC & More:

It is through the generous support of our community, friends and family that we are able to provide special programs and enhanced enrichment activities including sports, arts and our garden program which are all so important in the lives of our children and youth. Our APPLES ART MUSIC & More campaign focuses on the following: APPLES: Enhanced technology is being added to our educational and autism program as well as a Mobile Science Lab with iPads. Research has shown how powerful this tool is for children with communication disorders and special needs. ART: We believe that the arts provide healing opportunities for our children as they connect with others and improve their self-esteem and social skills through our literary and visual arts programs. MUSIC & More: We are adding music lessons and expanding our Performing Arts Team and Rock Band to reach more children as well as adding dance, musical theater and spoken-word poetry.
